The research was aimed at re-creating the Market Wall that originally divided the Saturday Market in two halves, between the French Norman borough and the Anglo-Saxon Borough of Nottingham. This GeoBlog is an online, interactive locative media to allow users to visualise the Market Wall on a map that contains a number of historical info and images. The aim is to experience the deep roots of the city using virtual archaeology. This GeoBlog will act in the future as a database for other research projects involving Nottingham's intangible Heritage.

Click on the red info symbols of the map below to know more about the Market Wall and other historical elements of the Old Market Square.

Move the map to see the content of each info symbol, the info will be displayed on the left side of your screen.
